Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) is a serious health condition that results when the
arteries carrying blood to the lungs are constricted, disrupting blood flow.
Left untreated only 68% of patients with PH will be alive after 1 year. HIV is a risk
for PH but HIV patients are not routinely evaluated for PH.
This presentation will assess the evidence for PH in HIV in Africa and discuss
opportunities for public health programming
